Dr. Rebessi is an economist focusing on Macroeconomics, Public Finance, and International Economics. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota in July 2016. After completing his doctorate, Dr. Rebessi joined California State University, East Bay as an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department. Starting Fall 2023, he’ll be Associate Professor, and will serve as the Department Chair. His research has appeared in several academic journals, such as Economic Inquiry, The BE Journal of Macroeconomics, Mathematical Social Sciences, and The Journal of Sports Economics.
